Love. As the Bible defines it
I Corinthians 13:4-8
4 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant 5 or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; 6 it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. 7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away.
What's you're definition of love. and can love even be define. Do we as ppl put too many personal emotions and make love out to be what we want it. mold it to our likings. are we too emotional to allow love be what it should be.
i often heard many ppl say "you cannot control who you love, or how you love". some say we don't love hard enough. or we love too easy. but are these personal emotions tied to it. so is it fair to argue when it's been a short time to say "I love you" and some rebuttal maybe... "In such short time".. or "You can't love me.. You barely know me"
Do we get Love confused with "being in love". I know sometimes it is hard to tell the difference between.. In Strong Likings.. Lust... Infatuation...Desire.... and real Love.
With there being so many different levels of love. How can one immediately say... "isn't it too soon to love me" when it could be a kinship type of love... a friendship kind of love... or could be an actual emotional "love" kind of love.
We are often too scared to even say I love you anymore to the people we feel the love for. We are unsure to their reaction we may get after words. Saying I love you to someone can change their view on you... push them back, b/c they feel you may be moving too fast, or even too clingy. when in fact saying them 3 words may not be as deep as it seems. if we're connected on the level that we mentally think we are then would there be a misunderstanding...
so if i walked up to you today... knowing our "relationship" would you walk away from me... would you say it back... would you fold... or would look at me in the craziest manner...
Them 3 words. short and simple. yet complicated and full of a lot. them words can mean a lot to some. and kindness to others.
why use it in vain...
